Private Wine Experience
Meet artisan winemakers and taste natural qvevri wines
Book nowThis private tour is designed for wine lovers who want more than a commercial tasting room. We take you to the heart of Kakheti’s wine culture, family-run cellars where qvevri winemaking is still a living craft. You’ll meet the winemakers, walk through earthen cellars, and enjoy generous tastings of natural amber, red, and sparkling wines, often poured by the people who made them.
Your local driver knows the backroads and best small estates in the area. Whether you're interested in biodynamic techniques, the flavor of a homemade chacha, or just a rustic garden lunch in the vines, we tailor the stops to your interest and pace. It's real Georgian hospitality, uncorked.
Book your wine tourThis isn’t a mass-market wine trail. We focus on small producers making wine the ancient way, in clay vessels buried underground, using local grapes like Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, and Kisi. Each visit includes a tour of the cellar, background on the winemaking process, and of course, tastings of several wines paired with homemade snacks. You’ll learn about tannins, fermentation, and the stories behind each label.
Your ride is private, clean, and driven by someone who knows the region well. From quiet vineyard lanes to hillside villages, our drivers time each stop so you’re never rushed and always welcome. No need to worry about navigating or drinking, just enjoy the experience.
The tour lasts around 5–6 hours, depending on the number of cellars and lunch. Prices start at $120 per vehicle (up to 6 people). Tastings and meals are paid directly to each cellar (expect $5–10 per tasting, $10–15 for lunch). We can recommend standout producers or follow your preferences.
Kakheti’s winemaking tradition runs deep, and this tour puts you face-to-face with its living roots. From buried qvevri vessels to family cellars filled with generations of history, this is the wine tour you take when you want something personal, earthy, and unforgettable. We’ll handle the roads, just bring your curiosity and a thirst for discovery.
Yes. If you have a list or want to visit a certain style of winery, we’ll shape the route to match.
We can reserve a lunch at a cellar that offers food. Most serve local dishes alongside their wines.
