After 45–60 minutes of rugged ascent, the landscape opens into highland grassland dotted with small lakes. On clear days, Mount Ushba and the surrounding peaks reflect on the surface , a dream for nature lovers and photographers.
We use high-clearance 4x4s (Land Cruiser or similar), driven by locals familiar with the track’s changing conditions. Your ride is private, and the driver adjusts speed and stop frequency depending on your group’s comfort. If you’d like a longer break, a short walk, or a picnic, just let them know.
The full round-trip typically takes 3 to 4 hours from Mestia. We recommend early morning or golden hour departures for the best light. The ride starts from $150 per vehicle (up to 6 passengers). Larger groups and custom itineraries are available on request.
