Book your rideThis route follows a rugged valley road from Ushguli toward the base of Mt. Shkhara. The first half of the trip is off-road, through pastureland and glacial valleys. Once we reach the end of the track, you can choose to walk further into the glacier basin or relax nearby. The route offers unmatched views of Svaneti’s wildest terrain.
You’ll ride in a local 4x4, suitable for highland terrain, driven by someone who knows every bend of the trail. Our vehicles are maintained for off-road travel and adapted to the comfort of small groups or families. Child seats can be included, just ask in advance.
The round-trip from Ushguli typically takes 3–4 hours, depending on walking time and photo breaks. The tour starts from $180 per group (up to 6 people). Longer versions or pickup from Mestia or elsewhere in Georgia can be arranged, just let us know.
