Route Overview & Landscape

The drive starts from Dedoplistskaro and follows quiet roads up to cliff tops that hug the border region. Views stretch far into Azerbaijani plains, and your route may pass old tower ruins, dirt-road ridgelines, and narrow passes above dry valleys. There are plenty of stops to stretch, photograph, or simply breathe in the desert air.

Roads & Comfort

The ride uses a mix of paved and dirt roads, nothing too rough, but remote enough to need a confident driver and high-clearance vehicle. Our vehicles are fully equipped, and your driver is local to the area. We adjust the speed and number of stops to suit your interest and energy.

Timing & Price

The round-trip usually takes 4–5 hours, depending on the number of stops and light walking. Sunset timing is ideal, but we can schedule earlier in the day as well. Price starts at $160 per vehicle (up to 6 passengers). Picnic stops, detours, or longer exploration options available by request.

Visit the Edge of Eastern Georgia

This is a journey for people who like their landscapes wide and quiet. The Dedoplistskaro border cliffs offer a different kind of drama, steep drop-offs, ruined towers, and steppe winds that carry the scent of dry grass and salt rock. Ideal for photographers, calm travelers, or couples looking for space and perspective.
